The Lido di Venezia: a perfect blend of nature and culture just steps away from Venice

If you are looking for a unique congress venue, where natural beauty merges with history and culture, the Lido di Venezia is the ideal choice.

The main congress venues on the Lido, the majestic Palazzo del Casinò and the iconic Palazzo del Cinema, offer an enchanting backdrop and perfect infrastructure for your events.

The Palazzo del Casinò is an icon of Venetian elegance and is perfect for hosting high-level conferences and exhibitions. Its spacious rooms provide a classy atmosphere for your meetings, while high-quality catering services, featuring seasonal and locally sourced options, will satisfy the culinary needs of the most discerning participants.

In the Palazzo del Cinema, you'll have the opportunity to conduct conferences in a space reminiscent of the charm of the big screen. This venue offers a creative and inspiring atmosphere for setups, screenings, and presentations.

On the Lido, events can also be organized in grand hotels along the waterfront or on the avenues, within more secluded and intimate venues, ideal for small meetings, and in unexpected locations that will astonish guests, all with the charm of experiencing the sea in Venice.

Why Venezia

The Lido di Venezia extends for 12 km between the Adriatic Sea and the Venice Lagoon, representing a unique environment. On the island, our guests can focus, away from the Venetian chaos, immersed in the nature, rhythms, and culture of the lagoon.

The presence of Venezia Unica Convention Bureau, with the Palazzo del Casinò and the Palazzo del Cinema, ensures the presence of prestigious venues on the island that can host internationally significant events, all just a few minutes by boat from Piazza San Marco.

Our hotels - partly housed in historic buildings - captivate the imagination with their Liberty-style architecture and offer services to meet the needs of international guests.

On the island, roads are lightly traveled. Starting from the congress venues, every location is reachable in a maximum of 15 minutes.

Signature activities

  • Pellestrina by Boat, a Unique Experience

With our six-hour vintage motorboat tour, you too can discover the secrets of this secluded and lush strip of land. Departing from Venice, you'll sail towards Lido, passing by the island of Poveglia, a former quarantine station, and reaching the village of Malamocco. From there, passing through the Alberoni port, you'll reach Pellestrina with its two villages, San Pietro in Volta and Pellestrina. Admire the imposing Istrian stone barrier, the "Murazzi," the last work of the Serenissima to block the whims of the sea and protect its islands. Continue to Cà Roman, a natural reserve where a stop for bird watching is a must. The final stop is the city of Chioggia, located right in front of Pellestrina, sharing with Venice the structure of bridges and narrow streets.

  • Lagoon to Savor: Cooking Class in Malamocco

What better way to get to know a territory than through its ingredients and recipes? The island of Malamocco, with its ancient village, hosts an original cooking class with Le Locandiere of Relais Alberti to explore the tastes and flavors of the lagoon. The activity includes a visit to the market to purchase the best seasonal ingredients with which to compose your own dishes. The cooking class is suitable for vegans, vegetarians, and those who appreciate fish or meat: everyone can choose the type of menu to create.

  • Explore Lido by Bike: Liberty Villas Tour

Lightly traveled roads, bike paths along tree-lined avenues, and the pleasure of pedaling while inhaling the sea breeze: Lido di Venezia is the perfect place to be explored by bike. Enjoy a day on our island, cycling along the lagoon and the Adriatic Sea. From magnificent Liberty villas to the locations of the International Film Festival, and, why not, a dip in the sea to conclude the visit in style, we will accompany you for two hours, recounting the history and anecdotes of the island's main places.
