The reference point for Italian MICE abroad
Convention Bureau Italia is a private national authority promoting tourism within the Meeting Industry.
It was officially founded in 2014 by the industry’s main associations - Federcongressi & Eventi, Associazione Italiana Confindustria Alberghi, Federturismo, Federalberghi, Confcommercio, ASSOHOTEL - Confesercenti - to assist operators.
The role of Convention Bureaus is that of reducing the distance between Destinations and events organisers. This is our everyday endeavour, representing a network of 3500 Italian businesses. CBItalia’s mission is to promote Italy as a MICE destination, acting like a starting contact point and as a source of information for anyone who chooses Italy as an event destination. CBItalia supports Italian and foreign event planners by providing impartial guidance that takes into consideration all the logistical needs and, especially, goals of an event.

The strategic alliance unites all bodies and organisations working on national promotion within Europe.
