EGA: WHEN PASSION BECOMES AN EVENT
For more than 50 years, Ega Worldwide has been successfully organising and managing national and international events, with a team composed of numerous professionals who share the same passion for making events a memorable experience.
The company was established in 1965, with the first edition in Italy of the Rotary World Congress, thanks to the efforts of its far-sighted founder, Emma Golinelli Aru. It immediately became a market leader in the organisation of conferences, and from the 1970s onwards, has also been a leading organiser of government events.
A continual drive to improve and to come up with new and creative solutions for clients has made Ega one of the first agencies to experiment with and offer innovative ideas, such as the introduction of new technologies into the events sector (apps, streaming, on-site and remote voting systems, management software, virtual and hybrid event platforms, AR and VR) and the creation of agreements with Universities for the awarding of formative credits for young students involved in the events in various capacities.
Today we are able to operate in more than 100 countries, offering the same attention to detail, thanks to the international networks IAPCO (in which we are one of just three recognised Italian agencies) and World PCO Alliance (in which we are the only Italian agency).

Expo Dubai 2020 – Italian Pavilion
Turnkey management of the events and all the operations in the Italian Pavilion during the period from October 2021 to March 2022. The Expo recorded in-person visits totalling 1,619,850, plus 13 million online visitors, with over 180 events featuring 7000 participants, including the institutions; more than 4000 B2B meetings; 15 Innovation Talks, featuring 100 speakers, around 1000 participants and 276 delegates from more than 36 foreign countries.
In addition, cultural, entertainment and sports events took place both inside and outside the Pavilion: 40 music and dance events; 22 Forums, workshops and meet&greet encounters with sports champions and Olympic medallists; 16 theatre performances; 56 concerts featuring 23 artists, and some 30 arthouse film sessions.
Global Youth Tourism Summit (GYTS)
The first world forum on sustainable tourism. From 27 June to 3 July 2022, 400 young people from 80 countries met in Sorrento to play an active part in the decision-making processes in the tourist sector.
The GYTS platform includes a series of international events, workshops and other educational activities that offer children and young people the opportunity to learn and to share and discuss ideas and to shape their vision for the future of sustainable tourism, within the framework of Agenda 2030.
G20 Summit of Heads of State and Government, Rome 2021
The G20 Italy 2021 Summit took place in Rome on 30 and 31 October, at La Nuvola Conference Centre, Palazzo dei Congressi, other venues in the city’s EUR district and the Baths of Diocletian. In ten days, we took care of a complex design and technological project for the fit-out of over 4000 square metres, involving a team of 1500 people, which allowed the 20 delegations – on-site and online – to take part in the first major event in Italy since the reopening following the pandemic. In addition to the Heads of Delegation, including the main Heads of State and Government of the countries involved, the event was attended by 1297 delegates, 1261 journalists and 259 broadcasters.
