About us

2019: the unconventional Convention Bureau Terre di Siena was founded with 40 members

The CBTdS is a private entity (limited liability consortium) which currently comprises more than
40 members working in close collaboration with local institutions. It has participated in 6 trade
fairs to date, meeting more than 150 buyers and receiving more than 40 RFPs.

The CBTdS also promotes the Terre di Siena as a destination in the wedding, luxury, and large-
scale events sectors.

TERRITORY

MICE and Wedding Experiences in the Terre di Siena for meetings, incentives, and conferences for up to 500 people, and premium weddings.

The Terre di Siena, part of which is also a UNESCO World Heritage Site, offers well-equipped
venues that are ideal for meetings and events in the MICE, wedding, and luxury sectors. The
area comprises Siena and the 8 municipalities surrounding it, featuring unique attractions
related to art, history, nature, and food and wine, all of which guarantee extraordinary ancillary
outdoor and cultural activities as well as an immersion in local traditions. The support of local
institutions and stakeholders such as the University make it possible to host meetings,
congresses, and conventions for up to 500 participants; incentives; and luxury weddings in hotel
and university venues, and historic villas and residences, along with less conventional spaces.
Thanks to a partnership with the Convention & Visitors Bureau of Florence, the area offers
excellent opportunities for a synergy between the two locations, which are also connected by
CBTdS member businesses, thereby guaranteeing quality and efficiency in mobility. The CBTdS
participates in the major industry events in Europe and, through its membership in the
Convention Bureau Italia, on other continents as well.
